TRIO programs assist students with reaching personal goals

The TRIO Student Support Services SOAR and STEM are programs in place to help students from traditionally underserved populations in their academic, social and professional pursuits.

Art exhibit spotlights ceramic medium

The art department held an opening reception for their new art exhibit called “Vessel and Visage” on Thursday.

Located in the Art Gallery, the exhibition featured ceramic pieces from Sacramento artists Roy Lizama and Katri Uno. The event also held a live event in which a ceramic piece was made for the audience’s entertainment.

Californians will vote on constitutionalizing abortion rights in upcoming election

Voters will have the opportunity in Tuesday’s election to vote on Proposition 1, a legislative constitutional amendment that would protect Californians’ rights to abortion and contreceptives.

The Nest at the Cosumnes River College Family Resource Center is hosting a monthly event called Parent Connect – Thoughtful Thursdays every second Thursday of the month.
